  • Fill-in for other Meteorologists when they are absent from their shifts
  • Make public appearances on the station’s behalf

  • Main responsibilities include assigning reporters and photographers to breaking news events, press conferences, and scheduling interviews; while generating ideas and cultivating contacts

  • Field produce weather live shoots for weather team for 5pm and 9pm newscasts
  • Assist weekend meteorologist in show production
  • Establish good relations and do daily beat checks with public safety agencies

  • Initiated local and national coverage for MPD officials and events
  • Single-handedly produced monthly 30-minute public affairs television show for Chief of Police
